iPlanCONSULT (Intl) Ltd. is a Kenyan based consulting company offering specialty-consulting services in the fields of Urban and Regional Planning, Land Management Consultancy, Socio-Economic Research, GIS/GPS Mapping, Project Management and Environmental Management and Feasibility Studies.
Within the last 6 years, the company’s senior partners have completed substantial contracts for a variety of clients including government, local authorities, non-governmental organizations’ and the private sector either individually or collectively.
The company is 100% Kenyan owned and employs a number professional Planning, Environmental and GIS experts. An extensive complement of specialized instrumentation and computing facilities supports the company’s staff. This, along with the technical and managerial experience of the principals, ensures the firm’s clients of the highest quality of professional service.
The Firm aims at working together with the state authorities especially county governments. It is within its professional capacity to carry out these exercises of preparing physical development plans at regional, local or at the special level.
Physical Planning is a multifaceted discipline in the sense that it entails not just development of plans and designs but also a myriad of other professional activities some of which involve coming up with policies.
On Environment, the Firm carries out E.I.As and E.As on various projects according to the Environmental Management and Coordination Act of 1999. This is done with emphasis on the physical, chemical, economic, social and cultural impacts of the project to the environment.
The Firm carries out formulation and implementation of Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EHS) systems and standards to various organizations including training employees and workers of these organizations on EHS.
Land surveying is the science and art of measuring on, under and above the earth to determine the absolute/ relative location of features. Surveying gives a planner the physical location and nature of features on the ground to be taken into consideration while coming up with a land-use plan.

The company is managed by a registered physical planner with over 10 years collective experience in the fields of Urban and Regional Planning, Land Management Consultancy, GIS/GPS Mapping, Project Management and Environmental Management and Feasibility Studies in collaboration with two senior partners. The senior partners are supported by assistant planners, technicians, draughts men, environmental experts and administrative personnel.
